Ok, so the Staff are absolutely brilliant and are so kind and caring and they work so hard. The venue is beautiful and is always so clean and tidy. Now, I would want to give 5 stars, but and it’s a significant but, the prices of the coffees are significantly high and in my professional opinion are highly overpriced!! Yesterday I ordered just 2 coffee’s and the total for was over £7.00!! Last week I ordered 2 coffees in Mayfair - Central London and the bill was under £6.00. You have such an excellent business, but customers should not be paying should a high price for a couple of hot drinks. This is Market Harborough and considering I paid less in Central London for 2 hot drinks, I think the Management should review the prices you put on your hot drinks. Overall it’s a high quality business and great for Market Harborough, but a little...
Read moreHonestly hit and miss - not because of the food or drinks (which are great!) - but because of the staff. I’ve had coffee from those that are pleasant and friendly, a short chat or even just basic transactional business A to B, and I’ve been at the opposite end of the spectrum where you are (in quiet periods!) ignored, not even acknowledged as waiting to order or even having entered, and then spoken to bluntly whilst the barista/server chats instead to other people. Customers aren’t burdens interrupting your gossip. After a matter of fact “pay here”, drink is later put silently on the side for me to just guess it’s mine and leave. Really tarnished previous positive experiences. People are allowed to have bad days, chances are we’ve all worked in hospitality over our lifetimes and no one can act happy all the time, but it’s just rude...

The care, humbleness, professionalism and detail provided by the staff made my experience really enjoyable. Walk inside, the period building exudes character, dialled to 11 with cool lighting, an abundance of potted flowers and a coffee machine with its mechanical innards on display. The brunch menu was a breath of fresh air. A contemporary take on breakfast and lunch. The corn fritters and ciabatta bacon butty were dishes of beauty. The former, one of the best looking and tasting dishes I had for a while. There are loads of seats inside and out. If, like today, the weather is pleasant, you get lovely views of Sainsbury’s car park to enjoy while...
