I’ve given this place multiple chances, but I am repeatedly let down by both the service and the prices. The food and coffee are consistently below standard, yet the prices are at the very top end. For example, a single coffee is £3.50, and with syrup it’s often £4 or more. A doughnut costs £3.50, meaning that just a coffee and one doughnut can easily come to £8–9 — which is shocking for what you get. The customer service is also extremely poor. One member of staff in particular (the man often working at the counter) is consistently unfriendly, with grumpy body language and rude service. On one occasion, he threw a napkin onto the table and slammed down my coffee — completely unacceptable in any customer-facing role. I regularly visit the Harvey Centre, and it’s disappointing to see this behaviour again and again. This opinion isn’t just mine — many local parents and members of the community who sit here while their children play in the neighbouring soft play feel exactly the same way. By contrast, Couzens in the same centre offers much better value and genuinely friendly service — I can get three doughnuts, a coffee, and two drinks there for the same price BB’s charges for just a coffee and a doughnut. Until BB’s improves both its service standards and pricing, I won’t be returning
PS: I would like to highlight that the waitresses are all lovely and welcoming...
Read moreI have never seen such appalling behavior from staff in my life! Two of the staff were shouting at their colleague, being quite rude to her for absolutely no reason, and the lady at the till had a sour expression on her face the whole time she was serving customers, slapping the receipts on the trays and acting all irritated(the receipt mentions the name Florjana, blond lady with short hair). I don't usually leave reviews but I felt I had to this time as I couldn't believe someone could be so rude. The muffin was good, but I won't buy...
