Burger King — Restaurant in Harlow

Sorry i can not give this place any star rating, even though i was forced to enter a one star rating so that this review could be posted.. i visited the Harvey Centre Burger king on a sunday morning, ordered Ultimate breakfast meal, which was lukewarm at best, but at least it was cooked, no napkins in any of the the holders, had to ask at the counter, as for cleanliness of the place, for a sunday morning with no more than five customers in there, you think moving a broom around the floor to clean up bits of old food and fluff would have been at least one of the priority jobs, instead of gormlessly standing behind the counter waiting for the next victim , ( sorry customer ). Now let's get onto seating, as soon as you walk into the place you are met with three seats with severe damage , and as you look around the place there are countless others in a similar state people are meant to sit on these things and feel that they are hygienic and therefore can be periodically wiped over, these poor excuses known as seats are nothing but germ catchers, let alone the fear of some poor child running up to these things, tripping and banging their head on the exposed wood, or even getting splinters from the germ infested seat,. i shall be passing this review onward to Burger king head office. who will i hope take note as soon as possible, before someone reports the restaurant to the council, this is by far the WORST Burger king i have ever visited and i shall certainly not be returning...

Got there just after 2pm and there were a lot of people queuing/waiting. Placed our order and immediately saw our order number on screen as ready but then it disappeared from the screen and realised we were now in the same situation as everyone around us who were still waiting and becoming increasingly impatient and hostile.

The staff were seemingly oblivious (trying to avoid eye contact with anyone) as they just continued to make up orders and the manager was preoccupied with online orders for JustEat and Deliveroo couriers.

When we eventually got our order and sat down I struggled to see what the recent refurbishment had involved as the whole place feels bleak.

On the upside our drinks were OK, the fries were hot and my 8 year old quickly demolished his bacon double cheeseburger, but the onion rings were poor and everything aspect of the Whopper with cheese was dry and cold.

I didn’t bother complaining as we had watched a man repeatedly complain about the same thing for the last half hour while we waited so already knew it...

I visited this branch today 15/5/2025 at approximately 3:30, it was not very busy in there at all, there were a couple of people waiting for their food. I have a Blue Light Card, which I have to go to the counter to redeem. I was waiting at the counter for a little while until the worker behind the counter approached me, he was very rude and told me that he had no time to deal with me and that I had to go to the self service. I pointed out that I have the Blue Light Card to which he told me to order on the self service and choose the option to pay cash at checkout. I tried to do that but there was no option to pay cash at checkout. This has not been the first time I've encountered rude staff at this restaurant, and I had kept away for a few years due to that, but I wanted to give this branch a second chance, but unfortunately their poor manners and service have...
