Kaz's — Restaurant in Harlow

I was walking past the restaurant recently and thought I’d pop in for some dinner. I asked the waiter for a table and he barked back at me, “We don’t do tables for ONE!” with a look of complete contempt on his face. I explained to him that on previous visits, I’d experienced no problems eating alone. He looked me up and down like I was trying to rob the place, then he walked over to his colleagues to mock my request.

Congratulations Kaz’s. That was a text book way to permanently lose a customer. Don’t believe any review that calls this place the best Indian in Harlow because it’s nowhere close. The Moonlight in Staple Tye is in a completely different league. Both Bush Fair and The Stow offer a much better standard too. As for...

My favourite restaurant for Indian style food in Harlow. Doesn't taste like a bowl full of sugar like most others in town. Some really nice tasting flavours in all the dishes I've tried here.

On every occasion I've been very well looked after, the staff are great. Decor is nice, atmosphere feels really nice with authentic Indian background music.

Free parking around the back and at front. And if I've not had time to sit in and eat I've often got take-away in the past which is great as they do different deals.

I found meat in my pure vegetarian meal, as I don't eat meat and I never have... until today. Disappointed. When we made the manager aware of our disappointment, he just said he has "told the staff off" and "obviously I can't return this food". I wasn't looking for my food to be refunded, I have left paying for it in full. Just a better response would have been nice. Anyone going there for vegetarian food - do check it, as the staff clearly don't. I would also check if the vegetarian food is cooked separately, what if this was an allergy issue? Extremely...
