Went in to this branch after seeing a local nearby out of hours health official for stress fractures in my ankle (road crash causing disabilities and I use a walking stick). I went in about 7 minutes before they shut at 11pm, had to wait for service as they were preoccupied. Ordered my food, asking if I could sit in to eat it and if that would be a problem? I was told that was fine by the polite lad who seved me. Got my food after 11pm after waiting as is the norm. Then as I just started to look forward to my toffee latte after eating the meal with my £11 food order, I was told I had 5 minutes to finish it and leave by a manager after 10 minutes of trying to relax there?! So feeling disgruntled, I set a timer on my watch to not get into trouble. I'd just eaten my food, only just and was forced to knock back my hot drink!!!! I wasn't told about 'finish my food deadlines' when I sat down or even when I ordered. The manager was rude in my view, unsympathetic and I was a customer in the remaining time being forced out!!! I then had to leave with my walking on their wet floor, scared I'd slip and break a bone. So, the worst experience I've ever had in such a McDonald's restaurant, indigestion afterwards through frustration and bad customer welfare with my walking trouble, had I slipped on the wet floor. ...
Read moreThis McDonald’s is by far one of the worst on the planet. The staff are incapable of READING an order to ensure they get it correct for their customers. Same excuses every time I complain we’re too busy etc the new systems they lay out do not work what ever happened to good old McDonald’s days from the 90’s fast food was fast food but had some quality about it this day in age we have to park up wait 25 minutes watch 10 cars behind us leave with completed orders to then be given an order with items either missing or not to customers request. And who on earth puts onions and sauce on the outside of the burger bun instead of inside it the lost goes on and on and to be honest I can’t waste anymore time for this McDonald’s branch what happened to the working class where people make work enjoyable for themselves you have people in their who don’t want to work in their then leave don’t do it make space for someone who is committed and passionate about working in McDonald’s I always say a job you have is only as boring as you make it and you are the only one who can make it fun to be fun you must want to work their if they enjoyed working in McDonald’s the atmosphere and food quality would be 100% better than it is now. So far I have given 1 star if I could leave minus 6...
Read moreWent for food in drive through. NO SIGNS regarding toilets not being open at all. Yet people can order from inside so it made it look like could use them after eat food in car. Here is why 1 star. They could see I was ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE and yet wouldn't let me simply use the toilet that staff use. 1 star due that lack of human compassion and total "jobsworth" nature of these people. So... in the world of Coronavirus and help your neighbour.. the staff here just followed orders and didn't give a hoot. Ok. Fine. But then next time these people who work at McD then wonder why people in suits who work in the city earning big money don't care about them. There is your answer! I had to go behind a Bush outside. Had no choice. Would never have ordered a drink had they put up helpful signs in the drive through. So when someone asks me to help others or donate money in this Coronavirus time... my answer is now simply.... NO. I will keep all my money for myself. And will never eat at this one again after all this virus is over. If you want people to help others then help them in their time...
