Always sat here for cup of coffee or a bite to eat the lovely lady with the blonde hair is lovely a real asset to the buisness it's nice to sit somewhere where it is not so crowded and the staff ie the blonde lady have the time of day for you. Food is good it's not greasy but portions can be on the small side but In general good food.Last week me and a family member had a mid day lunch of a mix of a brekky/ lunch and seeing we do this quiet regular we did notice when paying it was a bit expensive for 2 people when we paid so yhe lovely blonde lady rung it up again on the till and the price come up different to the other lady so patiently we stood waiting for the whole process to start over again and again another total for everything we had exactly the same items but yet again another different total,with thar out of nowhere a man of came from the back the owner I think never said a word pushed the 2 ladies to one side took the order out of the blonde ladies hand and proceeded to put prices through the till, we had no idea what was on the order docket we only know what we had ordered but yet again another total came up this one being 3.50 more than the others,the stare from this man when my family member mentioned to him yet another total told us both just pay up and get out of there. We just paid because by this time it's taken 15 mins I'm hot and very embarrassed and tbh I felt uncomfortable by the mans demeanor I just wanted to get out of there we did ask for a full receipt once outside I looked at the receipt and it wasn't a itemised one it was just a sub total the total to pay to be honest I thought it would have at least had even a price of a item then with all the items subtotal and then total to pay no receipt was subtotal then total. We won't be returning it was embarrassing to be treated with such hostility no hello let's see what we can do just a stare which was intimidating sad really but time to try somewhere a bit...

Terrible attitude of staff. Arrived at 15.20 and told no food, nonmention of cakes and coffee etc.

Asked to warm a sausage roll and told it was a charge after being looked at like I’d just asked for something out of the ordinary only to then be told the oven was.

Had a lovely full English on Saturday, the egg was cooked perfectly, bacon not to dry, and probably the biggest sausage I've seen, oi oi. Service was great, very friendly staff, and very modest pricing. For a decent full English without the prentiousnes I'd recommend it.
