This café is excellent, and I’ve enjoyed consistently great food throughout my many visits over the years. While the prices have increased over time, placing it in a slightly higher bracket, they still seem fair, though on the higher end of that range. The portions are generally satisfying, especially with the jumbo breakfast, which usually comes with a good amount of chips—though there have been occasions where I've been a bit disappointed with the amount. The air conditioning is a nice bonus, adding to the overall comfort. One minor issue I’ve consistently encountered is that the tea is made too milky for my taste. Very clean surroundings, with attentive and engaging staff, who’ll guide you through the various options available.

Plenty of seating, although it can get packed at busy times….which is a testament to its popularity.

You can substitute up to two items of any set menu dish.

Decent size teas and coffees, with all the usual condiments on the tables.

Food comes freshly cooked, popping hot and with generous portion sizes.

Good quality bacon, cooked well, with amazing top-quality sausages. Eggs cooked to perfection, super-runny!

We visited for the first time this week and loved this little cafe. The food was good value and freshly cooked. They've done well with the new normal social distancing. My daughter enjoyed a tasty milkshake and panini, and I had an enormous jacket potato and a cuppa. Also just had to buy a Millionaire's Shortbread which also just jumped into my hands when I was ordering - had to be done and was delicious 😋 enjoyed that later at home.
