We used to order take away from here all the time, the place used to be HEAVING. It's had a refurb since I last went to pick up a take away so can only assume new owners? We arrived, restaurant was quite warm (baring in mind it was quite warm out still at 8pm.) we were put in the back corner. Ordered poppadoms, they came with the standard chutney tray. Food came, it was piping hot which was great but that's where it stopped. My food tasted extremely bland & my husbands tasted 'chemically'. We didn't finish it. However asked for a box to take left overs home as there was quite a lot left. Given the bill & to my suprise we were charged for the chutney tray £2.50- never in my life have I EVER been charged when ordering poppadoms & I was charged for packaging. I have no objection to paying for the packaging but jeez at least let me know. It may have only been £3.30 all in all but principle. They do not serve alcohol but you can take your own drinks. Best you do take your own drinks as we paid £18 for 4 large cokes! We basically paid through the nose for everyone else to drink their own drinks. Sad to say that we won't be returning. Read moreWe ordered food through the just eat app. We had not long got back from driving home from Blackpool and decided to have a takeaway instead of cooking. Order placed and we waited patiently for 55 minute estimat of our delivery. And hour later we were informed our order had been cancelled due to the driver not being able to find our address. We have never ever had a problem with delivery drivers finding us. Totally let down and left hungry. Luckily we managed to pop down to our local indian restaurant who after hearing what happened cooked and presented us with an excellent meal in 20 mins.
