The First and Last Time! This place looks fabulous but the food and the service let it down big time. We were here for Mothers Day, it was not particularly busy (only 2 other tables taken up when we were there). There were only 3 of us. We waited a long time just to get served for drinks and over an hour + for the food, which wasn't particularly difficult as it was a roast and 2 veggie options which I could have cooked faster and tastier from home. The food was only warm when it arrived. I wasn't going to leave this review initially as i thought maybe it was a one-off but since then my daughter has ordered a delivery which took over 2 hours, they didn't seem bothered about the complaint and the delivery driver thought it ok to swear about the fact he reckoned he'd been waiting for ages! Why would he even think it's ok to do that????? I personally believe he was trying to shirk the responsibility of his lateness to us. Given there are so many other lovely pub restaurants and restaurants in the area this one will NOT be recommended. As a believer of' you get what you pay for', well we most certainly didn't and so choose to go elsewhere...

This has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve been since I moved to Waterlooville. Remember to book ahead through the website. The environment is so serene, the interior decor is to die for. So simple yet classy, luxurious and chic at the restaurant area and the bar area is pub-like cool and with great lighting.

The curve sofa are of great quality and I literally could take a nap on it. Haha.

There are lots of options on the menu too, vegan, gluten-free, spicy and it’s quite affordable. Food for kids too.. I mean! That’s bomb!

They also have a Sunday Special roast; beef, lamb or Turkey for £13. Food is well cooked and served!

I would have given a 5 star but on the Sunday I was there, there was just 1 lady who attended to all of us!!! That’s too much workload but she did it gracefully. She welcomed us, took us to the table, got our orders, prepared the drinks, passed on the food order to the kitchen, she cleaned any finished table, took the payment and helped us out. As sweet as she did it, I’m sure...

Absolutely horrendous evening, we waited over half an hour with having registered our complaints just to have our order taken ! Service in this place is appalling, then whilst waiting forever yet again after complaining for our food to arrive we ordered a round of drinks even that they couldn’t get right we had to ask where our drinks were , we did tell them we were due back at work on Monday ( this was Friday evening) , then when food finally arrived we asked for a simple thing like could we have salt , we were asked how much salt we would like !!!!! Words cannot express how bad this place is , my colleagues at work when I said where we were going said do let us know what it is like we haven’t been there , personally I would not go back if you paid me to , so I am certainly not going to recommend it...
