Pasha Restaurant — Restaurant in Havant

What a little gem. Had friends visit us yesterday, so wanted to go out for a meal. One of our friends needs Gluten free, so needed to be sure everyone got what they wanted, so the trawl began. Came across this place by virtue of their association with Red Lounge, whose reputation is superb, and when I looked at their menu, more than 50% of it was Gluten free, so thought we would try it.

From literally the minute we entered, the staff were friendly and attentive. We had one of the round booths at the front which was lovely.

Obviously we had poppadoms, (turned out they were GF as well, so bonus for our friend) and the sauces were plentiful and lovely. One in particular, a dark red one with a bit of a spicy kick was fantastic. This one was the favourite for everyone, and you simply have to try this one.

Choosing a starter was hard because we wanted them all. Settled on four GF starters so we could mix and match between us. Wow, probably the nicest and most filling set of starters I've ever had. Lamb Boti kebab, Garlic Prawns, Malai Tikka and Chicken Chilli stir fry. I honestly can't say enough good things about the starters.

Mains were also lovely. Absolutely piping hot, and just so tasty.

We were never hurried or pressured, and also never left waiting. They just got it right.

Went for an eat out to help out dinner with my girlfriend last Wednesday. First time at Pasha. Beautiful place - nice ambience and lovely decor. The chap that took our order was really friendly and helpful as we're the two other waitresses. The experience was spoiled unfortunately by some grumpy guy who came out of the kitchen and started barking my order back at me. I felt we were missing one of the mains I had thought I'd ordered - one of the girls overheard me and went to check, and from out of nowhere this guy appears at the table with our order slip saying "you've got this, you've got that, you've got that etc" "What are you missing?". I tried to explain I couldn't remember the name of it but if I could see the menu I could show him" but he just tapped the order docket again and said we've got everything we ordered. I couldn't be arsed to argue and we had plenty of food anyway, but it's the first time I've ever not left a tip at a restaurant and I won't be going back. A real shame that the whole experience was let down by one idiot with zero...

Not one to normally write reviews, however me and my other half ordered a takeaway tonight, we received our order but it had no flavour and looked very mushy and watery, so I called up and they said they would replace it, fine. So went back and spoke to someone who was very helpful but then the guys from the kitchen came out and started to have their say(absolutely fine) but basically telling me I’m wrong, was a very intimidating and awkward setting, especially being the only customer in there at the time, I was made to feel so uncomfortable that it actually made me very upset, in no way was I trying to tell them how to do their jobs, just that I wasn’t happy with my meal. the curry that they gave me tasted and looked exactly the same and so we were in the same position except the rice and poppadoms were now cold after having to wait, so obviously we didn’t eat it.
