We had a get together with friends (5 adults and 4 children) and decided to get an Indian take away delivered to our house. ||The order was taken over the telephone without any problems, the guy even reread the order back to me confirming what I wanted. ||The meal arrived within the time stated by the man who took my order via the telephone conversation. Paid the delivery man at the door, with an added tip.||As I unpacked the food, I noticed that all of the food that I ordered hadn't actually been delivered. My husband contacted Taste of India to inform them that not all of our food had been delivered and could they please deliver it to us as soon as possible (had lots of hungry mouths to feed!). Taste of Indian confirmed our order and that they had not delivered part of it, no aplolgy, just said that the wouldn't deliver it now and they will give it to us next time we order food. In the first room I was in, found 2 massive (as far as bed bugs go!) bugs and some baby ones under the pillow, lots of stains on linen suggested they weren't the first to have lived there! Was moved rooms with no fuss, and the 2nd room was clear of them.....I think!|- Next to no insulation from noise or cold, so beware live music at the adjoining pub.|- Uncomfortable bed|- No mirror in the bathroom |- Damp and corresponding odour in the rooms|- Stale curry smells in the 'public areas' (aware to do with the restaurant below but there are ways to mitigate)|- Very poor breakfast offering, if you don't manage to go down to catch the disinterested cook it's a rummage behind the scenes for some milk and token cereal. |||It's a such a shame as with the right investment and leadership it could be a fantastic place but as it stands it's not fit...
