Love this place, dog friendly, Poole table is a big win. Most of the time people play fair - so if ya got a coin on the table and it’s your turn it’s honoured. Jukebox aswell normally no dramas, In my experience Friday and Saturday evening do get busy, but if your local you do find this through all the pubs,
Service is normally spot on and polite. Toilets and hygiene is ok, could do with an update, that being said it’s never ruined my experience, Perfect place for a quick pint and a game of Poole, can’t speak for the food as I not tried but not heard bad things.
Prices are typical to Emsworth so no fuss there. If I’ve got a couple qiud in my pocket i go here a couple times a month for one reason or another, many cracking nights out...

I was accused of being aggressive and then the locals, the sweary tattoo ones, joined in. Such a horrible place and...

I have visited this venue on numerous occasions for different events and can honestly say it always has a very welcoming atmosphere and we have never had a disappointing time. The food is fantastic and I’m a very fussy eater, but that is not a problem as the landlady and landlord are very pleasant and go above and beyond to attend your needs. Toilets are kept very clean and pleasant. Nice little garden at the back with benches and tables. Also very dog friendly which is great. And you have to meet ‘Margaret’ their bulldog.she is a beauty.Keep up...
