I've been to Gail's 5 times now and each time very dissapointed, today was no exception. The person serving was sour and obviously hates her job, nit even a smile for my 2yr old grandson. My daughter in law ordered food but was told kitchen was closed although it said on notice closed at 3pm we were there at 2pm. Cakes were very dry ,there is very little service although for 2 cakes a tea and a coffee it was £19.50. In the past I've sent bagels back 3 times due to rock hard and unable to eat. It was extremely quiet today so a little smile and nice service would have been nice. I will not be returning or meeting my family or friends there in the future, there are plenty more places in Radlett with nicer staff...

Unfortunately because of the allowed dog policy I've watched the animals come in and lick the baguettes on the lower shelf. Pretty revolting but it is what it is. Can't blame the dogs for great smelling bread being displayed in the open. Thankful the olive bread I buy is on the top shelf. Anything on the lower shelf... avoid at all cost unless you love a bit of wet nose slime and slobber with your sandwich.
Beyond that, great staff, great coffee and great place to have a quick snack. Definitely will go again.

Read moreThank you to the wonderful staff at Gail's. They are always friendly and welcoming. I was with a group of mums with a lot of prams on the hottest day of the year. The air conditioning was glorious and the food and drink variety was strong. The shop and facilities are clean and the baby changing room is very accessible, clean the changing table is a sensible height.
I have also ordered from this branch on deliveroo and have had kind and professional interaction with staff when the item requested was unavailable. I was offered suitable substitutes and an apology for the inconvenience.
