My partner and I came a few months ago and we had a very good experience and so decided to revisit last night.
Unfortunately, last night was dreadful. We sat outside and the omens looked good until we decided to order a glass of wine to share which seemed to perplex the young waiter who said that it couldn’t be done. However, after remonstrating with him, he then went away and returned with two glasses of wine.
We ordered two pizzas but in the meantime, we were not offered any water or bread which one would normally expect in an Italian restaurant.
When the pizzas finally arrived, they were extremely doughy and not crispy and just consisted of mushrooms and oil and were tasteless. No one came to see how our meals were and rather than complain, we were just going to get the bill, pay and leave without having any desserts.

It is such a shame because we want to support local businesses but our experience last night was such that we do not...
Read moreDowngraded this restaurant after a disastrous meal a couple of weeks back - missing starters, main course that took an hour, waitress who kept misleading us ( it’s coming ! When she hadn’t even checked and the kitchen had lost the order) manager knocked £20 off of £170 bill for 4. Little more than paying lip service to customer satisfaction- will NOT RETURN. An AWFUL experience
EDIT :- try again? no thanks - not going to risk £170 for 4 for another below par meal - will wait for Per Tutti to open.
AVOID
Avoided this place since an awful awful meal - thank goodness for Per Tutti .
Had a really good meal here last week - even by 7pm the restaurant was half full and jammed by 8pm! I had the beef ragu to start followed by chargrilled chicken breast with Rissoto ( as did 3 out of the 4 of us) great service, great food
post script ? why after wasting £180 for a terrible meal with you would I risk throwing away another £180 for you to “maybe” get it right this time? no thanks - i have already thrown good money away on a lousy meal at Storia not prepared to throw away more money on a...

This Italian restaurant is a true gem in the heart of Radlett, offering not just delicious food, but a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression.
What truly made our evening exceptional was Silvana, our wonderful waiter. She was the epitome of hospitality – attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has a perfect experience. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel like VIPs from start to finish.
The food? Outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic Italian flavor. From the fresh pasta to the perfectly cooked mains and indulgent desserts, everything was top-tier. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in their craft.
Whether you’re celebrating something special or just in the mood for great Italian food, Storia Radlett is a must-visit. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Silvana, you’re in for an...
