Isot Mediterranean kurdish Restaurant — Restaurant in Hertsmere

We are visiting Radlett for a wedding. Checked into our hotel at almost 9 and dashed off late for dinner at Isot. We had booked a table for 8.30, but we were rather late and arrived at 8.55. This is our first time to Radlett so literally found it by searching the Web. We were greeted by a husband and wife and their baby. Who thankfully accepted our apology and seated us. Olives promptly arrived along with the menus. We chose starters of Saksuka, Hummus, Mitite Kofta and mains 3 Grilled Salmon. Every morsel of food was tasty, generously proportioned, obviously freshly prepared, using incredible ingredients beautifully presented and graciously serviced...I wish I lived locally, this would become my regular go to for lunch or dinner so I could work my way through the menu. Fantastic Experience from Start to Finish I had an incredible dining experience at İSOT Restaurant. The moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home with their friendly and professional service. The restaurant has a great atmosphere — clean, stylish, and full of character.

The food was the highlight. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. The mixed grill was perfectly cooked, the mezzes were fresh and authentic, and the desserts were the perfect sweet finish. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and put care into everything they serve.

The service was quick and efficient, but never rushed. Prices were affordable, especially for the portion sizes and quality. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both exceptional food and top-notch service like this.

I thought the food was nice, but the portions were a bit small for the price.

I could have overlooked that and would have still given a better star rating, but when I complimented the waiter on the food but simply remarked that it was a little bit small in size, he basically started arguing with me and telling me I was wrong to think so. I didn't raise my voice nor was I rude at all. All he needed to do was acknowledge it and that would have been the end of it.

I will never understand why businesses commit 'Recommendation Suicide' like that, because I won't go back again because of that experience, even though the food was good. I don't pay 50 or so pounds to a business for them to speak to me like that. They'll lose out on countless meals from me.
