What a lovely little gem of a place in the right place and time. Superb friendly service and wonderful homemade coffees, cakes and lunch items. Today I had some crumble cake and an amazing flat white. I’ve been touring the country and comparing flat whites and this place is in the top five, maybe the top spot. Wonderful atmosphere of locals very happily returning. After a minor op at the surgery I was really needing somewhere homey and friendly and this is the place. Maybe the only place. Thank you. All I can say is mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Coffee: lovely. Cakes of different types: moist and tasty. Staff: friendly and efficient. My daughter and I have tried a few different Cakes on offer on mondays and are always so happy with the selection available, taste and how moreishly moist they all are. Can't comment on anything savoury as we just treat ourselves to cake and coffee. Definitely will return and actually do return 3 or 4...

Both waitresses were really rude. After saying there was no ham baguettes, 2 minutes later then rudely said there were no baguettes at all apart from a singular ham baguette. There was hair in both my milkshake and jacket potato, and they forgot to bring my friend’s flat white and scone. After asking for the ‘large scone’ a second time, it finally came and was the size of a digestive biscuit. Really poor and won’t be...
