Truffles — Restaurant in Horsham

The first time I came here, I was still a six-year-old. Now I'm forty-two.

Back then, I remember my parents bought me a birthday cake here - I didn't like it at all. There was no sugar in the whipped cream and I was not a happy bunny. But I won't hold that against them, this was back in '82.

Nowadays, well, it's a baker's. Traditional English bakery; bread, buns, cakes (now with sugar) but also sandwiches and traditional UK breakfast. Couple of tables inside, two tables outside.

In fact, we had the breakfast - outside. We had nothing to complain about, decent quality overall. I choose to buy bread and such here, in stead of at the supermarket opposite the little square.

TL;DR: Decent / good baker's with seating but nothing to get ecstatic about. Will come again

Other than their salads and cookies (lovely) I find their assortment pretty terrible. This is definitely not artisan / quality bread. The pastries might look like they’re from a French bakery but you will be let down. They have way too much jelly or other artificial sweet stuff on them and the pastry is nothing special. I once bought some scones and the lady there asked her colleague if she could please get more scones out of the FREEZER! If I can’t get fresh scones at the bakery… what does the word bakery even mean. Never been greeted with a...

Never in all my life have I met such horrible women my 3 year old is in the potty training stage and informed me she needed the loo have being only next door in the charity shop I thought I would pop into the supposedly friendly cafe app on entering I asked slightly if my daughter could use the loo I was look at as if I had just threaded the safe at gun point from the reaction I was spoken to with attitude and ushered over to Costa with rudeness to follow I will be boycotting the cafe from now on and also spreading the word they are not...
