Great atmosphere to relax on comfy chairs with your family. We chose to visit at 4:30pm and couldn't find it to leave until we reached 6pm and said that they were closing.
It's quiet, tranquil and the staff couldn't be more cheerful and friendly, always smiling.
The decor is a nice mix of new and traditional Indian.
Toilets are available along with a baby change.
What's quite unique is that there is a smaller child and toddler play area that is enclosed. For older children there is a games room with pool, chess, video arcade games and a TV with console games available. Books to read and boardgames for them.
The food is authentic and original Indian street food, selling a varied range of vegetarian bites, Dosa, curries, Punjabi burgers and wraps, salads, Chaat and range of different gourmet chips. There's plenty of drinks available, soft cold and hot drinks, milkshakes and a range of desserts. There are no alcoholic drinks in keeping with a specific child friendly social status.
I do highly recommend coming here with your family and try the original and the way Indian street food...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have been keen to try chaii hub since it's opened, as it has always smelled amazing every time we walked past! We went for first time yesterday and were greeted so warmly by the staff. They were really enthusiastic about explaining the menu. As a vegetarian I loved that I could eat everything on the menu and the staff were so helpful in helping us chose. It was also great they could offer vegan and gluten free. We ordered the tasting menu feast and the special of the week, naga chilli chips. The feast was great as it offers a taste of most things of the menu. The food tatsed fresh, authentic and well rounded in terms of spice! It came out warm and the portions was good. We enjoyed everything and even the spicest thing was delicious and made with real chillis rather than chill poweder which is much nicer. The cafe is also very cosy and caters for everyone including children. The prices were reasonable and you can tell there is a lot of love and passion put into the food! We will...
Read moreThe Chai hub is a great place to go for a coffee or a lunch. Prices are very reasonable here. Great ambience, comfortable decor and really friendly and welcoming staff. Both the coffee and food (Ive been there several times now) have always been really tasty and the owners more than happy to serve the dishes with extra sauce /spices or change vegetarian options to vegan ones and/or consider individual allergies for suitability to the customer. There is a choice of sofas, armchairs or tables with comfortable seating. Soft music making a good ambience but not too loud so conversation between frineds can be easily heard. Clean and tidy throughout. Not used on my visits but there is a small soft play area and a room for juniors with lots of games.activities suitable to occupy children while parents can have a relax. Obviously keeping an eye on their children of course but a lovely touch i thought. Would defintely recommend anyone to visit this lovely new...
