I have worked here and can honestly say how terrible it is. Customers must get so annoyed and frustrated with the poor service they recieve.. This is at no fault of the small amount of good staff that the pub has left, but instead the managers fault who scares all her staff away quicker than they can step their foot in the door. This leaves the pub constantly short staffed. The poor staff are then left under major amounts of stress which isnt helped when the customers then get awkward - though i really cannot blame them ! But it makes it harder and more stressful for the few good staff there is left. On top of their stress.. The food isnt great, though i dont blame the kitchen staff for this either as i believe they could all cook an amazing meal if they were given fresh ingredients in front of them and told to start from scratch. Problem is they arent given anything fresh, and they are worked so ridiculously hard ! (Often long days and also short staffed which amounts to huge waiting times for food = more unhappy customers!) Almost everything comes frozen and processed.

Theres nothing more annoying than walking into work and seeing all these dirty filthy tables full of old food, manky plates and cutlery, half empty pints of beer, and flies lingering around.. Half the time theres bits of food on the floor under the tables, often squashed chips in the carpet, and used napkins on the floor.. This shows that customers have 0 respect for their surroundings, as i know most people wouldnt see their own surroundings looking that way. This also shows what a lack of staff we have that they cannot be kept tidy for our customers, and believe me when i say that annoys the staff.. We wish we had enough staff to allow us to focus more on keeping the pub tidy rather than just constantly serving customers.. Maybe if there was enough people to keep the pub clean and tidy, people would respect it alot more. I can honestly say i tried, and wow.... Even i struggled to conquer it.. And believe me thats saying something 😐 I so badly wanted to have plates off the table before the customers even left the restaurant. Thats how it should be.. Shows people arent being checked on before they leave, which is a huge lack in hospitality.

It just seems like a huge money making business. Always happy to have all staff serving customers and making profit, but not so happy to oay for enough staff to actually give our paying customers the good service that they deserve. There should at least be enough clean areas for the customers to sit down and have a drink or dinner..

Shocking pub really !

It has the ability to be so nice, yet it...

The food is just about bearable as usual, however the staff do not know a SINGLE THING of customer care... rude and stuck up. The so called 'manager' Dave has no respect for paying customers! Treating me and friends like dirt, there was many rules and he was very firm when talking to us, he was not polite and for a 'manager' he does not know how to treat customers. I STRONGLY recommed you do not go here!!! If you want good food with much better customer service there is Frankie & bennies and prezzo across the road, I you want another pub there is jazz yorks opposite weatherspoons please try these out for much better service, And until something has changed with there 'manager' I will not be returning and I will be letting as many people as I can know not to come...

RUDE STAFF I waited in line for people in front to be served (not very busy in there) he served them, then went over and started serving someone that just walked in I did say I was next in the que of the people he had just served clearly wasn't his problem and could do without customers disturbing him whilst he was working I stood there then ordered my food ect on the app then sat down waiting for my empty coffee cup to arrive so that I could get a coffee how annoying as I have walking problems I only went to the bar so that I wasn't up and down to get a cup but thanks to that member of staff I was but it did go to show you don't need members of rude staff like that and get rid of that rude person and use the app instead as it works faster than him and...

Wetherspoons lives up to its reputation of being cheap and cheerful. Depending what you want will affect whether I would recommend the Weeping Ash to you. The staff are friendly and try hard to keep queues to a minimum. The food is 'fast' and reheated. Meals are generally in offer but - as shown - not always worth what you pay for them. There's a good range of bitters and lager's on draft if that is what you are looking for and they are able to offer them at exceptionally cheap prices.

The Weeping Ash is the go to venue in St Neots for a number of reasons. It’s always got lots of people having a good time. Last night 13 of us met for a Friday catch up. We got a table that accommodated us all. The table service through the app was prompt and kept us around the table and chatting. Big thank you to the staff who made this happen…We didn’t eat so can’t comment on that.

The Weeping Ash offers unbeatable prices paired with flavors that perfectly match their value. It’s rare to find a place where affordability and quality are so well balanced. A great spot to enjoy a meal or drink without breaking the bank, yet still leaving completely satisfied. Highly recommended!
