Met up with my family as we don't see eachother often.. there was 8 of us, we sat down at the available tables.. we spent maybe 2-3 minutes greeting eachother and deciding what we wanted as a young staff member came up to us and decided to stand at the table and say "are you guys ordering as you're taking a while and taking up quite alot of space." Very rude.. very unnecessary. And continued to stand there and glare at us as there was only like 2 other customers at the till.... extremely rude. We all left as we felt like we didn't even want to be there anymore and pay towards a chain of cafe that doesn't even know of her existence. I'd understand if it was a small business and we'd of taken more than 20 minutes however we were there less than 5 minutes and you work for a chain that makes millions love. Pipe down and get a grip.

Read moreFood poisoning in a cup. I went in today just as they were closing and ordered a mint choc chip cooler. The staff were more interested in talking to each other than doing their job. It was watery AND I had to remind them to put the chocolate chips in as they were going to serve it without. The icing on the cake was the whipped cream though. Not only was the one they were going to use not refrigerated, but it had been sitting in hot water. Not matter, they thought and proceeded to spray this bacteria haven on my drink. It was watery and clumpy. I had enough and left with them saying they could fix it. How? Scrapping that nasty cream off my drink!? DISGUSTING!!!! GROSS!!!! Will be reporting to Food Standards if I don't get an adequate...
Read moreI know people who work at this costa and have heard some unfortunate things customers have been saying to them during the pandemic. I can say from experience as a customer here that they are doing a great job helping their older customers with the track and trace online form by helping them to fill it in when they don’t have a mobile device to do it themselves. This for me is great customer service at work. I recommend visiting here even during the pandemic, but please abide by the rules in place and don’t try and make things difficult for the workers and you’ll be rewarded with a great service.
