has the basics to be a success would be better with tweaks. for example the chairs all sway the walls are old fashioned and could do with plastering and redecoration which would probably act as insulation too. the layout also reminds me of a school cafeteria but again that might just be because of the big school clock and stone walls. However the food is good and the staff are friendly which is the main thing in cafes. will probably come again hopefully next time will have pies in. Also an idea for tweaking is its very nice having the sauces available to the public but maybe clear the area of other stuff as it looks a bit messy with a spade and boxes and packs of drinks shoved in...
Read moreI don’t like leaving a bad review but I had to on this occasion, Below average produce, sausages were very disappointing, bacon was ok but undercooked, egg was nice and hash brown was good. Staff didn’t seem interested and wasn’t very friendly, food just slapped on the table and walked away no offer of sauces, salt or pepper. Cup of tea was nasty and the cappuccino were instant very disappointing. No one was in the place tables were dirty empty sachets had to move table. Mess on the floor round tables probably from the week. Shame really as it’s a nice big space and has a lot of potential. Put your prices up and get better produce in no one wants...
