"I went for some food. I think the shop's too cramped, and the mixed grill I got was freshly cooked. The lamb chops I found very bland, but the chicken skewers were nice and soft. However, I was very disappointed when I asked for a bit of salad. I got it given to me, and when I was about to walk out, the lady said, 'You owe £4 for the salad.' I got mixed grilled with extra chips and a drink, which in total cost me about £21. I’m surprised they didn’t charge me to eat inside.
I even noticed the lady at the till is just trying her best to up the bill when you're about to order your food. My personal opinion on the place is it’s very hyped and overpriced, especially for Accrington. Don’t think I’ll be going there again...

Me & my partner always order two greek souvlakis and when I tell you they are amazing, they are.
If you have ever been to one of the Greek Gyros stands at a festival where one chicken pitta costs £14 and you hack the price because they are so good. Don’t bother. These souvlakis are the exact same, if not better, at over half the price.
The people which work at the Mediterranean Kitchen are absolutely lovely. For a small little shop, the decor and overall atmosphere is beautiful and just topped off by the amazing food. This takeaway is so underrated it is unreal. Even when delivered, the food is piping hot on delivery and everything is top quality. This has officially became one of our go to...

A little piece of Greece!!
We had been coaching on a boxing competition all night and wanted some lovely fresh food - so naturally, we came here! We shared the halloumi, the beetroot salad and the souvlaki platter and it was delicious, just what we needed!
Honestly, it reminded us of being in Greece - right down to the cute tablecloths and the traditional music quietly humming in the background; just lovely. You don't feel as if you're in Accrington!
Very reasonable prices and the loveliest, most friendly staff you could hope for.
