a foul stench upon entering. Seems to attract those with problems and baggage; rather than sit and drink themselves into their awaiting grave, they’d be best seeking help for their issues and otherwise deal with their demons instead of trying to suppress with alcohol. Great bar staff very friendly. But have no skills on how to handle roudy customers . Beer is average. Not alot of choice. I went in for the grand national. Tidy pub. Staff nice and come across as happy to be there. Prices average. Beer garden is poor it's more a smoking back yard. Pool room above average. Toilets up stairs tho . A bit anoying if u have a broken leg. There is a disabled toilet ground level...
