Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Hyndburn

Will not be coming back here again, second time of attending with even worse service than the first. We were told that they were short staffed so not everything on the menu was available, fair enough I can fully understand and accept that. We attended with friends who were before us in the queue, they ordered one round of toasted tea cake and a portion of chips, they were charged for three tea cakes but got refunded. Next friend asked for chips and was told that they were not doing them so instead got a wrap with a side salad which tasted rotten, no complaints about the wrap though. My sister was next, she asked for 2 breakfast baps and 2 drinks. The waitress brought out cutlery for each of us but only one breakfast bap so we queried it and was told that only one was ordered, and that communication wasn't clear. Now my sister has a stammer and special needs, so I think perhaps your staff need a lesson in disability awareness as my sister was on the verge of tears at being told it was her fault only one was ordered, if that was the case though why was given cutlery for both of us.

Called into this cafe today as we normally do when shopping in Great Harwood, but today the service was absolutely terrible. There wasn’t many customers in but the staff in the kitchen were just standing around talking.
