Christchurch Mansion Kiosk & Tea Room — Restaurant in Ipswich

My daughter and I visited the tea room today, which was recommended to me by my friend. I was shocked how the woman spoke to me, probably because of my accent! She was wearing a dirty top and she looked untidy. When I ordered a smoothie for my daughter, she spoke to me very loudly and pointed to the ice cream section. Then I said those are ice cream. She said no it is a drink and she gestured her hands to show me what a drink is! When the order arrived it wasn't smooth at all. The drink was a very weak juice with a blend of banana which made the "smoothie" very fraffy and separated. It looked so awful. So I complained that this is not a smoothie , she started arguing with me that it is and still talking loudly. I said I know how smoothies look and this is not it. Then she was still arguing again. So I said please don't talk to me like that, she then walked away laughing. Disgusting attitude and awful service . Not happy. The place is dirty with lots of pigeons flying around. I will not come back...

Asked for 2 hot, hot chocolates and they came out less than lukewarm. Politely asked for them to be microwaved...they came out just Luke warm...walk 3 minutes into town to a café that knows how to serve a hot drink!!!! hard to believe, it was just 2 hot chocolates...good job we didn't order...
