I visited Storico for the first time with family for my birthday and had heard fantastic reviews so was really looking forward to it. The food was fantastic, and I can't fault it at all. Pasta was fresh and pizza was delicious. Decor is also really lovely and you can tell alot of effort has been put into the restaurant. However, the service from the young waitress was not up to standard and in my opinion (coming from the hospitality industry) she requires further training in basic customer service. She bluntly asked for the plates to be passed to her as she stood at the end of the table although she could have easily come round to get them. When asked for a lime and soda drink, she said "I dont know what that is", so when we explained she shrugged her shoulders so my sister ordered something else. Then when asked if the pizza has a deep crust (as opposed to a thin crust) she said "I don't know what that means". If you don't know something, please find out for us. I would love to come back again and see that improvement to service has been made as this did put a downer on our evening. For that, I have to give 3 stars due to let down in her service. Looking at reviews, this must be a rarity as service is usually complimented so not sure if this was a bad evening for her, but please feedback to be more welcoming and to find out from management/chefs if she is ever unsure...

We shared the Charcuterie board between the 2 of us and loved this.  Lots of treats on here.  The cheeses are full of flavour and a good selection of meats. Olives, artichoke and semi dried tomatoes, balsamic/oil to dip the bread that came with it was also light and delicious. We both had pizza, classic base, napoli with added Smoked beef.  Charcoal base,  buffalo chicken and added smoked beef. The waiter explained the buffalo pizza didn't come with tomato base and was spicy which I was happy with,  I also thought it was very good that he explained this to me whilst ordering. Both pizzas were cooked to perfection with plenty of topping and a perfect thin base with puffy edges. The  bottle of white was good and there's a good selection to choose from. The decor is lovely and seats comfy and the toilet is beautiful.. yes I did say beautiful toilet. Go in and have a look for yourself. Couldn't fault anything about our visit here.  Excellent prices too, starters main and bottle of wine just over £50. I wish them every success and will certainly be going again and suggest you all do...
