We recently hosted my sister’s family hen party at Good Inside Social, and it was the perfect venue for a relaxed and joyful afternoon celebration. We had exclusive use of the space on a Sunday after their usual opening hours, and the experience couldn’t have been better.

The owners offer exclusive hire without a hire charge and were accommodating throughout the planning. They allowed us to decorate the venue, bring in flowers, a cake, and even our own fizz and wine (with a fair corkage charge per bottle), which gave the event a nice personal feel.

The food was fantastic, which is exactly why we chose this venue, it’s one of my sister’s favourite local spots. The team curated a menu specifically for our party, keeping to our budget and catering to everyone’s dietary needs and preferences.

On the day, the staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and every guest had a brilliant time.

A Perfect Brunch Spot – Highly Recommend!

Woke up craving brunch and stumbled across this gem on Google Maps. After seeing their 5-star rating and amazing reviews (not to mention the drool-worthy food photos), we knew we had to try it. We called about 45 minutes ahead to book a table, and everything went perfectly from there.

The two female servers were absolutely lovely—so friendly, cheerful, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience even better. We ordered the garlic yogurt with poached eggs and fermented chili oil served with focaccia bread, as well as the cauliflower hummus sandwich on focaccia. To drink, we had ginger beer and fresh orange juice. Everything was out of this world! The flavors were incredible, and my partner and I didn’t leave a single crumb on our plates.

You must try this place! We had "Supper" at GIS this week. WOW - what a culinary experience! The format is to choose sharing plates, which can be meat, fish, vegetable, accompaniments. Eating here is a multi-layered experience. Firstly, everything is cooked to perfection, as a given. I had Bavette steak and it was perfectly tender and succulent. Secondly there is the flavour. Every dish had a surprising flavour coming through, some of which I had no idea what they were, but it was sensational with every plate. For example, the Bavette came with "green sauce" which looked like pesto, but was out of this world with some flavour-sorcery going on! Finally, out of the ten or so plates which can be ordered, it doesn't matter what combination you have, nothing clashes, and everything blends to perfection. The chefs, Gabby and Surrey, have technique, flavour intuition and menu planning down to a fine art.
