This vibrant spot on Norwich Road felt like a little slice of Portugal — busy, loud, and full of life, but without feeling tacky. That’s a real credit to the management! My friend said it felt like being on holiday, and I’d agree. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with customers chatting away and greeting everyone who came through the door. It seemed like there was only one member of staff working both the floor and the kitchen, which made the friendly waitress all the more impressive. We placed our order for food and drinks, and while the service was slow — our food took about 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive — the great atmosphere helped pass the time. Three beers later, the food arrived. The food was good, and the vibe was fantastic, but the long wait did take away from the overall experience. The chicken is not even piri piri all it was was chicken based in oil and and when it was finshed there put the chicken in the box and they put even more oil around the chicken and which made the box really oil and underneath was just oil and olives and when I bringed the chicken back to my home it tasted absolutely disgusting all you could tates is oil nothing else but apart from that the piri chips was nice that was only the best part of my food So TRY AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT PIRI PIRI CHICKEN BECAUSE THIS PLACE DOES NOT DO IT SO DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY...

Authentic peri peri with great service and smiles.

The aroma of BBQ and spices fills the air. The Portuguese imported bottled beer is ice cold, and the BBQ is excellent.

We enjoyed the BBQ seafood skewer with squid and prawns and the peri peri chicken meals.

Great atmosphere with a relaxed neighborhood vibe; friendly staff, nice music, and a menu in Portuguese (use Google Translate or ask for recommendations).

Don't expect a white table cloth, instead, expect good...
