Bryson's Bar — Restaurant in Ireland

This is an odd one….the bar adjoining the restaurant was great with good Guinness and great live music. Good atmosphere I must say..we all found it great. However the restaurant we had several issues with though. They seemed to be out of every second dish we ordered, no salmon fillet, no fish and chips on menu but couple next to us clearly eating fish and chips? Ran out of ice cream for deserts and when we asked for fresh cream instead we got the sweet canned spray cream variety. For the main course we had 3 plates come out for the 4 of us having ordered the exact same meal and then a 10 minute wait for the 4th persons serving? So everyone’s food wasn’t hot when we commenced our meal. This happened on both courses.

The food was okay but not spectacular and for 4 people the table we were given was too small for eating food comfortably as your elbows were bouncing off person next to you. Just found the service disjointed as we had a different server every interaction and could have been...

Travelled from Coleraine to check this place out, and it did not disappoint.

I was here on a solo visit, and Daria was my host throughout. Her customer service was first class and she was the loveliest, most attentive person.

My food was excellent - chicken goujons to start, followed by the tagliatelle carbonara with garlic bread (a huge plate of food that I couldn’t finish!), and finally the chocolate fudge cake.

I enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and the good music, too, but the highlight for me was the hosting skills of Daria!

Employee absolutely ruined my bday. I paid for the red room, halfway through the night my music was turned off and refused to put back on. The employee was rude to members of my party and followed us on several occasions into the open smoke room and even the bathroom, telling us to leave if we weren’t using it. We were only chatting. I had it booked until 1, she asked us to leave at half 11. I walked out in tears. I did not get a partial refund or...
