Country Fried Chicken — Restaurant in Ireland

Can't beat Country Fried Chicken on Clooney Tce. Their Chips are gorgeous, the Chicken perfectly cooked and flavourful - especially their Drumsticks - get a pot of plain mayo with your chips if you're not fussed on the Gravy but if it's proper Chicken gravy you want, got one step further and get the small or large Supachip (Chip n gravy).

Recently the chicken fillet and even the gravy taste and appear different, it no longer tastes like the original recipe. Also I asked for a separate gravy and was given curry sauce, my husbands burger was dry and inedible and this has happened a few times now. Country fried used to be one of my favourites, sadly won’t be wasting anymore money here, prices have went up though quality has went way down...

3 stars purely because they sell 2 nice items. Namely the chicken fillet burger and the gravy. The chips are frozen and hence no great shakes. All the other chicken with the exception of the fillet is very small and very greasy. There is also an air of arrogance about the place that just doesnt sit well with me. Admittedly its very clean and they do the best...
