Puca Puca Games — Local services in Ireland

This place is a rare gem in Derry City. It is hard to find a place where the workers are so kind and helpful and want to listen to you talk about games, etc. I went here recently for a DnD session with 4 of my friends and we booked a table in advance. £5 per person. The other people playing were very kind and offered us their miniatures to use. If you go here alone, you can join any available table. If you ask the person on reception; they can guide you to a table. My only complaints are that the place closes at 10:00 so we only had a short amount of time to play our game, we had to wait about half an hour to get a table because it was so busy on a Wednesday night, and the one person on the reception seemed to be working alone so he was very busy.

Absolute joke of a business, I’d give it 0 stars if could. Policy changes constantly to suit whatever mood they’re in at the time. Your being watched like a hawk the whole time your in there and they don’t even let you touch the binders and treat you like your dirty and you aren’t worthy to touch their (overpriced) singles. The girl who works there in particular is so rude and almost always has a face on her when you go in. Charging 4x for cards in comparison to other stores. They also underprice the cards you try and sell them and then sell them for a lot more than they gave you. Only polite if you are there to play and will pressure you to join. great store and very inclusive with there weekly activities and game nights. Nice staff from the ones I've had the pleasure of talking to. would of given 5 stars but simply cant do that due to their horrendous trade in policy. not worth trading cards into to puca puca unless your desperate as they will take 50% or more of the cards actual value they usually don't charge the 20% sorting fee but there's definitely hidden fees. for instance traded 6 to 7 high value cards that totalled £134 was given £55 cash. For selling cards stick to selling online and get what your cards are...
