Poor meal. Hair in food. Poor customer service from staff: I ordered a Chicken Caeser Salad at Bistro 9 This evening. I expected for 5.25£ to get a decent sized portion of what I ordered. However, when I got home and opened my meal I was disappointed at the size and content. The portion was tiny with a thin bed of iceburg lettuce, very little bacon, soggy croutons and was served with garlic mayo dip instead of ceaser dressing which one would expect to receive when ordering a "Chicken Ceaser Salad". As I do not like garlic mayo I proceeded to eat what was a very dry meal and shortly discovered a short black hair in the amongst the lettuce; with this I decided to ring the store and make my complaint. I talked to a lady called Lisa on the phone and explained my issue. I firstly said that on the menu beside the other salads it specifies which dressing/dip they are served with however with the chicken caesar it does not which it indeed should if they are serving chicken caesar salad with garlic mayo instead of caesar dressing. I then continued and expressed my concerns about the hair which was an already unsatisfactory meal. I was not offered anything and received no remorse or apology for this and I had to ask for a replacement meal to be delivered. I asked if the Thai Green Curry was spicy as I do not eat spicy food and I was told no; so I ordered it. However, I was told by another household member who was at the time eating this dish said it was extremely spicy. I called back the Bistro to change the order that I had placed under false recommendation by staff member Lisa. Lisa talked over me and spoke with a cheeky tone not satisfactory of basic customer service. Lisa also was oblivious to the fact that I had a hair in my salad when I reiterated it - I doubled checked I was speaking to the same staff member which she confirmed I was; this makes me question the lack of care that the Bistro staff have for the bussiness' rapport with their customers. She told me that it'd be an hour before the new delivery of carbonara would be delivered to me; I expressed that I didn't think that was an acceptable waiting time for delivery after the service I'd already reviewed and Lisa said that it wasn't her fault and that's the waiting time. I accepted this as I was not being helped any further by the staff of Bistro9. We went and ordered food from bistro 9 Clooney terrace on the 21/1/17 at 6.00pm we waited 35 mins for our order then to go home and find the whole order wrong we got the right burger but everything else was completely wrong we have mash in stead of chips we have a chips cheese and gravy instead of chicken escalope we didn't get tabaco onions as we ordered them, and every sauce was wrong! We took the food back and as annoyed as I was I was completely nice to the girl and she argued abit but then agreed to redo my food! She then had the cheek to talk about me to her colleges loud enough so I could hear her! Most places would have the decency to wait until the person is gone before they talk about them and unfortunately she wasn't wearing a name badge so I didn't know her name, we got our food and went home to find out the chicken gougons were missing we were angry enough as it is! I rang and ask why they didn't put them in and the argued that they definitely did so I was so angry that I asked for a refund my partner was the one who took the food back and they just threw the money at him with out a word of being sorry! The first time we ordered online and once we got home noticed half the order was incorrect and couldn’t be ate due to allergies. We then contacted the phone number on the website and that was for the Portrush shop but the woman we spoke with absolutely lovely and wanted to help us said she would contact the Derry shop and see if they could sort this out for us. An hour passed and then was contacted again by the Portrush shop who said the Derry shop had tried to contact us as they remade our order and no one went to collect it however I had not received any phone calls in that time, she told us she would contact the Derry shop again and offered to refund us some of the £30 we had spend but 5 days later no sign of a refund in my bank. On the second occasion we thought we try ordering in store this time and yet again order was wrong stood at the till to let them know it was wrong but no one acknowledged me so thought it was a waste of time and just left, more money wasted, won’t be back, don’t understand where the 5 star reviews are coming from for...
