Burger + Frites — Restaurant in Kirklees

The best smash burgers I’ve had. And believe me I’ve had quite a few. I used to be one of them that would travel to Manchester or Bradford or wherever someone would say the “best” new place was, but honestly none of them are as good as this place. They use the best quality ingredients. The place is super clean, and the service is better than anywhere I’ve been. And the price is unheard of in this day and age!(as long as you order through there website or in person). Its about £6.50/£7 for a meal! A burger, fries and a drink for £6.50! You can’t get this type of food, in this quantity, with this quality for less than £9/£10 a meal from other places.

Recently tried the Philly cheese steak sandwich and again it was unbelievable. I know a thing or two about food and good quality meat, and I can say they use good beef here. Its not some cheap cuts like many places. Most places find it hard to cook a steak, usually because they’re buying cheap meat or the wrong cut. Or they over season it with some silly spices. These guys have got it right.

I’d also recommend the spicy chicken sando and the nashville burger. Again both of them are faultless. The fries are also amazing - and they give you a very big portion, usually one is enough between me and my wife.

I only eat this type of food once a week from out. And for a while now I don’t risk going anywhere else. This place is as good as it gets.

The service is spot on. The lads that work there are polite, and accommodating. And always follow any instructions. In particular the guy that seems to run the place.

This has easily become the go-to place for take outs for me. Too many favourites on the menu to mention but tonight I had the Smash Burger; Cajun Chips; Chick Kicks; and Nutty Nutella Milkshake! I’m not one to usually leave reviews but this place deserves some praise.

The smash burger is hands down the best you will find each and everytime and I’m a regular at many city hautes as I work in Manchester. I have to say what makes this place different is the actually quality of the ingredients you can taste.

Moving on, the Chips are crunchy and fresh as can be! Plentiful on the portion side and irresistible to know when to actually stop! Hence I always order large!

What I also really like other than the food is how smoothly I can order direct from their website, intuitive menu and swift processing. Following this the delivery time everytime I order is 20min flat. I like to go pick up as it gets me out the house working all those a hours at home. In mentioning this it reminds me this place is very classy looking!

Overall, the quality is above anything I can find locally or wider and their food certainly puts a smile on my face - which is exactly why I order a takeout as a weekly treat.

If you are a foodie and enjoy the upper levels of burgers, this place will meet your needs and some!

Current Experience (Hoping for Continuity): The current experience is a marked improvement. The food consistently arrives fresh, and the burger meals don't leave you with that guilty takeaway sensation. The skin on frites are now consistently delightful, featuring potatoes with a light crisp exterior (and they give you plenty for your money!). The beverages are served refreshingly cold. What's even better is that the prices have dropped since they first opened. To make the most of your dining experience, it's advisable to either dine in or opt for self-pickup, as delivery apps come with additional charges. Ordering directly from their website is incredibly straightforward.
