I recently stayed at Cambridge Hotel in Huddersfield, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! This family-run hotel offers amazing value for money, making it the perfect choice for anyone visiting Huddersfield.

The hotel is ideally located near Huddersfield town centre, making it easy to explore local attractions, shopping areas, and dining spots. My room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and provided a very comfortable stay.

Exceptional Customer Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Bilal, one of the owners, even took the time to sit down and have a chat, making my stay feel even more personal. The owners oversee everything and ensure the highest standards of service.

Halal Breakfast & Affordable Food Options

One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast, which had halal options available—a huge plus! The affordable food choices and the variety of nearby takeaways and coffee services make dining convenient and enjoyable.

The rooms were lovely and I was very comfortable. The fridge was a god send as I was there for a few months as a council allocated guest and at first I thought the staff were arrogant and unfriendly but as time went on I started getting on with them quite well. The manager told me about the way alot of guests put there by the council are generally homeless people who treat the rooms with no respect and the cleaning staff have to deal with urine and poo on the bedding and mattresses plus the room stinks like a sewer! I understood where he was coming from but I felt that there was a huge difference in the way staff treated paying guests to the council ones. If I got talking to anyone at breakfast someone always came and said get back to your rooms which I feel was too excessive and if you were seen knocking on anyone's door they would throw you straight out no questions asked. The breakfast is horrible and the bacon and sausages are Turkey apparently and taste weird. The bread and other foods are never fresh and the only good thing is the coffee machine lol. If I was a paying guest I would definitely not stay there due to the issues ive mentioned. Can't fault my room itself, loved the big tv and wifi. Shane the other things let the place down. Great place first time staying here as a couple the Room was very spacious with a fan iron and ironing board large fridge tea and coffee tray Beds where very comfortable with choice of 2 pillows one being a memory foam .
