Cafe 8 — Restaurant in Kirklees

Me and my Mam came here for lunch together last week, as our usual cafe was closed. I have to say, I am so so pleased that we stumbled upon this hidden gem. I ordered a medium mince and dumplings and had an ice cream sundae afterwards. Both were absolutely delicious, plenty on the plate and tasted beautiful. You can tell it’s proper home cooked food. Furthermore, for my meals, a drink and a drink for my Mam, it came to under £10. We were so shocked at how cheap it was considering how delicious everything was. My Mam even complimented how tasty her latte was! The service was great, with such a friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be going back and bringing further friends and family....

Cafe 8 is a spotlessly clean, friendly cafe. It serves the customary cafe items but also syn-free foods for those of a Slimming World persuasion. Food always good but got 2 breakfasts toast hadn't arrived, so told a waitress she said she was going to get it,out came another waitress and gave what I believe our toast so someone else who ordered a small breakfast.
