Bv Apartments — Hotel in Kirklees

as soon as we arrived at the property we was met with the admin telling us to stop making noise the signs said to be quiet at 11PM and it was only 8PM she has made the rules but they don’t apply to her she was shouting at her son early in the morning around 7am - 8am / she slams the doors going back and forth down the stairs from the top floor she was very rude for no reason banged on our door 5 times in our stay telling us we basically have to whisper to communicate across the room. there are a lot of bars to drink at around the area so the fact she’d expect customers to whisper while they’re under the influence is too much of an inconvenience she disturbed our time together made us feel like it was a waste of money if she’s continues to be like this she’ll ruin the reputation of the hotel she was making it really clear that she lived there and tried use her position of being an admin to try threaten us. i understand it may be annoying to live in an apartment where guest make noise but it’s right in city centre i’ve paid the money required to have the right to communicate how i want and not whisper across the room while dishes are being washed honestly she ruined our whole experience if you asked other customers i guarantee they’d agree with what i’m saying literally first day soon as we arrived at the property she came out her door complaining about the noise when we...

This was a work trip. I travel regularly.

No wifi. I reported this to the owner by email, phone, text and Whatsapp and they ignored all communication.

This is definitely not luxury. More like 1 star apartment.

The window doesn't shut properly - the room was frozen [November].

Having problem trying to getting into my room because I was gaving the wrong one. It had been changed, no wonder my pin number didn't work. It got solved in the end with someone from Bv staff arriving sort it out. Have no issue was pleasant stay there slept OK. No complains but one, need to sort the window out draught...
