Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Kirklees

I don't even know how to describe the snail's pace that operates in this branch.

We were the only customers waiting, ordered a large cappuccino, waited 9 minutes while the 2 staff members chatted about what would happen if they were to ever run out of milk. I started to think they might have with the time it was taking.

It took about 4 minutes just to take the order, while they were stood about seemingly not doing much of anything.

To add insult to injury, we watched as one of the staff members picked his inner ear and then continued touching everything without washing his hands - ear wax, anybody?

I think next time we'll just use the Costa machine in the Odeon - quicker and...

Been to this Costa today. Paid for 2 drinks, 2 toasted sandwiches and 2 cakes. Was advised by the staff that I would be called when it was ready. We sat waiting and then noticed the order was sat on the counter and no one had called us. Just as well we noticed or the drinks and toasted sandwiches would be going cold. I had paid for a Brie and cranberry toasted sandwich and it was runny on limp bread. I took it back and the mature lady very kindly replaced it with a cheese and tomato one which was great. The piece’s of cake however, were dry and hard round the edges. We would go again but only for a drink. Costa owe this to the lovely lady...

Theres a big were back ! welcome back sign on the roundabout and then when you pull into the car park and go to the door it's locked!! ... This Costa should really take there sign down if there not open!. Came to drop a family member off to have his vaccine at the stadium and thought oh I'll grab a coffee while I'm waiting 30 minutes...
