I had an incredible experience at Kabana Express in Huddersfield. The two servers, Akhira and Bibi, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their warm reception convinced us to dine in, and we were not disappointed. Their impeccable manners and attention to detail truly stood out. They even assisted in packing our takeout order with care. A special touch was when they asked my wife about her favorite Kabana dish and surprised us with an extra serving of donner. Visiting on August 23rd, 2023, it's clear that both Akhira and Bibi manage the establishment with genuine passion and enthusiasm. We ordered a takeaway from here on a 'quiet' Sunday night. First of all, it was meant to be arriving at 7.20. However, 40 mins later after leaving many voicemails, we finally got through to a woman who to her surprise, told us that the order was still sat there with them. Wanting to cancel it and get our money back, she quickly said that we couldn't as the delivery man had just left with it. Even though this takeaway is 10 minuits from where we live, the delivery man still took 30 mins to get here. It was so cold and the portions looked like a small to say they were extra large. I ordered the vegetarian masala. Advertised to have cauliflower, potato, carrot and peas in there, no such thing...what it did contain was overcooked mushy frozen mixed vegetables (mainly diced carrot and a few peas and broad beans), no cauliflower or potato in sight in a not so inspiring sauce.
