Marsh Cafe — Restaurant in Kirklees

Went into this cafe today ordered my food, paid and stood waiting. Two other customers came in after me and placed there order as I’m waiting I notice delivery man came in and collected his order then the gentleman that was cooking continued to serve the other customers that came in after me. So I went up to the desk and ask how long my food was going to be as I was on break from work I didn’t have long. He then look at the till ask me what I had ordered, so I said if he had to cook it not to bother as I had to get back to work he then said he’s got the spam on the grill only egg which wouldn’t take long, then he said I’ve been busy so I said it’s ok don’t worry I will leave it and walked out without my food or a refund. How can you say you have been busy when I order my food before the other two customers that had been served and gone and I was still waiting, if I hadn’t approached the counter I would have still been waiting as he didn’t even know what I had ordered. Lived round here over a year and only normally pop in for a drink whilst waiting for bus but managed to try the food today and wow the bacon egg and tomato butty was perfect (which no other cafe in the area has got it right so I'm amazed!) The chips and onion rings are perfect too not soggy or nothing literally just spot on!!! Again never happens these days! My sons having the bean jacket potato and cheese for his dinner so will update once he's had it as he's fussy so fingers crossed you win him over too (he's only 19 months) haha

Ordered from uber eats, called to try take the extra tuna of that was accidentally added and started shouting at me that I wouldn’t get a refund. I never asked for a refund. Just the tuna been taken off. They were unable to understand this. Said they wouldn’t cancel the order and that I had to do it myself as it goes badly against them.
