No signs anywhere to say they only offer halal which is very unfair to other religions that can't eat this ie Sikhs and Hindus. I had ordered, paid and waited almost 10 mins when I overheard someone asking if it was a halal menu. At this point I had to cancel my order and get a refund which was time consuming. I asked where the closest non halal 1 was. Told there are very few left in West Yorkshire and the server didn't know if there any locally. Please clearly sign post this on your menus and entrance, as the method used for slaughter isn't accepted by all, especially unsuspecting customers that wouldn't expect this type of exclusion from a brand such as Kfc. I have been on the Kfc website since. There is a filter to search halal restaurants, why isn't there a filter for non halal restaurants? Offering both halal and non halal would be more ethical as not fair to accommodate halal diners whilst excluding others as a consequence. Especially those expecting british slaughter methods of much less animal suffering by stunning and a quick kill. Very disappointing for Kfc not to clearly sign post the halal only restaurants as it's very frustrating to queue and wait to be served before you can check. Will be posting my review to all national papers in the hope at least 1 will publicise what has happened to Kfc's vision for the future and hopefully warn other non halal diners too, with there being so many that...
Read moreWe visited to get a takeaway and ordered a triple gravy bucket for myself, wife and 3 kids, when we got to the restaurant it was not that busy and we ordered on the screens, we then went down into the waiting area where there was plenty of staff but it didn't seem any orders were coming out, unless you were Uber Eats/ Deliveroo etc. Two members of staff were stood by the order screens and started to prepare the meals although it was not obvious whose they were. after about 15 minutes the staff member shouted out a 4 digit number which was neither of the 2 on the screen and then had to double back to find out it was ours. firstly she just gave me a bag and no drinks so i asked where were my drinks, they then followed, then we checked the bag and there was no gravy! we ordered a gravy bucket! this seemed to be a huge problem for them when we picked them up on it, the staff were not rude but made no eye contact or effort to interact, i understand you don't go to KFC to see a stand up comedian behind the counter but a smile and recognition you are there would be lovely. Although we took the food and ate it, it was OK, it really annoys me when i have to do the quality checking on behalf of people who are paid to do so. very poor and we will not be...
Read moreI said i wouldnt go back to this one after the last 2 times. But made the mistake to go again today. Disgrace to kfc this place. Chicken was uncooked. The batter was wet chicken been sat half cooked on that rack. Chips were even cold and weird. Trust me dont be like me, go to leeds road or town centre its worth the 5 mins extra travel. This place is awful man hands down the worst kfc in the uk and i work all over Britain every week. The staff look and act like they should be in Broadmoor or some asylum braindead workers who dont even realsie your speaking to them. Man the food is so bad im expecting to have a bad belly tmz. I hope i see my own review next time i forget how bad the experience is. I just cant do it again to this spot. £22 a bucket of mushy kfc batter. Like 8 thighs or rib cages whatever they were. Anyway please stay away. Needs shutting down. Open a taco bell or something. Place gives marsh, Huddersfield and kentucky a bad name man. Not even joking. Go try it yourself and comment on my comment if u agree or disagree. Kfc marsh is disgusting and a waste of money. Boom...
