Usually it's pretty decent here, but on this occasion I was second in queue with my partner and the lad in front seemed to know the guy serving.. They conversed for long enough before the lad asked for discount, to which the guy serving said oh yeah dont worry I'll sort you out and put through a dozen and drinks through as a pack of 3 and cheaper drinks.. If it wasn't so loud and in my face then whatever, but the fact there were people watching this happen (not just us!) and the guy was so open about it was just a joke.
We got served but a lovely young woman who was plenty helpful to us, and offered to bring my drink to our table. A couple of minutes passed and the same guy from earlier walked around the shop shouting 'Hazlenut Latte' and despite both our calls he just did a loop and put it back on the counter.. He questioned the helpful woman who pointed us out (we we're still trying to get his attention.. ), to which he turned around and because he had just been passed us had the look of 'ffs' about him. He came over and slammed the cup on the table which caused it to spill and splash me with fresh latte.. This was observed by a number of patrons already dining, who subsequently left the premises after witnessing the appalling service.
The young woman helped me out after seeing this, and after reporting the earlier incident she didn't seem too impressed about his antics. I found that she was shift leader this time around, and I can't fault her efforts but he really cheesed us off. I've done my share of work in fast food places and he would NOT be working for me if I was a manager here..
My other half went to order further items but was waiting a good amount of time before being asked what she wanted.. She politely declined his services and we were thankfully ignored.. Thank you to the young woman running the shift, this review is...
Read moreI came to KK yesterday with my niece and nephew as they saw the offer outside for £4 cold drink and donut offer. I came in and asked the women behind the counter about the offer and what we could get, i was told by one of the women 'any milkshake and any donut', i replied 'Any donut?' and she told me yes.
They chose their donuts and milkshakes and i got the glazed donut and a fruit shoot and the total came to £17.50
that was clearly more expensive that i was expecting so i asked what i had been charged for. The second woman said the offer was £6.50 - i replied stating it says £4. i was told thats for Reward members only. I said i wasn't informed of that when i asked about the offer. Then I was met with an abrupt 'it says it on the sign' when i looked it was in similar colour to the background small in the corner. Not once was i asked if i was a reward member. I then asked if i can i sign up to take advantage of the offer but the second lady quite rudely said 'you can but you didnt get the glazed donut on the offer so it wont make a difference' i told her that she heard the first woman say it was any donut. i reluctantly paid for this as my niece and nephew had been looking forward to this. I feel i was upsold something without knowing, i was not advised it was a reward member offer, i asked about the offer as i clearly didnt know about it - i should have been given all the info on the offer. i checked the sign there was no t&c's.
The attitude of the second woman was quite rude and short. this was the first time i had been in the shop and i wont be...
Read moreLove the food here, unfortunately it will be the last time I bring myself or my club to your establishment at Birstall, after receiving a £100 parking fine in what was a joke of a carpark on the 31st October... Apparently there were parking signs stating this, although at night, we're not at all obvious, and in the past 4 years and over 100 visits with several bike meetings, we never got a parking fine... Apparently I ran 26 minutes over a two hour period for parking... At no point did any of the staff warn anyone that a parking enforcement company were working on the premises, unlike when we are at Starbucks in Wakefield... So I came out to find nothing on my car, but a fine through my door this evening two weeks later.
Certainly put a foul taste in my mouth, I called up this evening hoping to speak to the manager, to find the whole building closed and being upgraded, a pokey Airstream parked outside in the freezing cold with two unfortunate members of staff having to work... The carpark even more restricted to 3 spaces and no longer being able to read a parking sign apparently located when I parked up on the 31st... Sorry Krispy Kreme, you have done this to yourselves.... I am merely warning unsuspecting customers, should you throw a party... Be sure not to park longer than 2hrs, or risk the same fate of...
