Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Leeds

I visited Costa Coffee Shop Seacroft green shopping centre, Seacroft, Leeds LS14 6JD. I was served by a young man "Calum" never have I come across such a rude & ignorant young man, no good morning, no thank you in fact he didn't even speak a word even after I said to him " no good morning then " ? He stared at me blankly I said OK then thank you , not a word he just glared at me, clearly did not give a dam. I ordered my Coffee which I may add wasn't the best Coffee I have had said a cheery " thank you have a good day " and paused but nothing not a single word. I returned later that day to speak to the manager and staff told me " Allegedly " he is the manager which i was shocked to hear, what kind of example is he passing to his staff, what message is he giving his customers, we all need a cheerful environment to enjoy good coffee. The business will not thrive if you do not meet and greet your customers in a pleasant manner. I have visited this Coffee Sop many times in the past and I definitely does not live up to the other Costa Shops Reputations, Warm Friendly, Clean and welcoming. Definitely not Welcoming infact he made me feel not welcome. The Costa CoffeeShop was a bit cleaner than usual, still no music playing, we are 4 weeks away from Christmas no decorations. If I didn't have to work I would gladly spread a bit of cheerfulness with smile and help the local Costa get a Reputation to be proud of... Good Luck Seacroft Costa Coffee Shop &...

Consistently bad service

I went in and made my selection and walked over to the till. There were 3 members of staff, 1 making coffee for another customer and 2 just chatting, 1 was putting ice into cups..... I waited patiently. It became clear that ice lady wasn’t serving anyone and she didn’t make any attempt to serve me. I said, ‘excuse me’ He proceeded to serve me coldly. No apology and nothing was said outside of a generic script. She even abandoned my order and asked her colleague to finish serving me.

I left with my order and met with my sister and told her what happened. She said the exact same thing had happened a few days ago where she had to abandon her order after waiting to be served despite there being only one person waiting for coffee. She said that 3 members of staff all gave their full attention to the person already being served and totally ignored her.

It’s really just rude

Also I would happily pay more money for a bigger Mac n Cheese. Don’t be so...

I have just visited Costa at Leeds secret green shopping centre and I Ann disgusted and appalled at the cleanliness of the facilities. I used the toilet there so did my husband.

On approaching the toilet the smell was horrendous it was 9.23 am. In entering the actual toilet I was greeting with an heavily stained toilet seat a heavily stained ful off Faeces old and new , the floor hadn’t been cleaned sweeped or mopped what looks like days

I cannot believe this restaurant was still open hence we never returned to our food order and left the said venue.

This was hygiene to the extreme and I will be reporting this to environmental health straight away !
