KFC Colton Mill - Stile Hill Way — Restaurant in Leeds

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great KFC Experience!

I had a really great experience at KFC Colton Hill. The food was freshly prepared while I was ordering, so I got it almost immediately—no waiting around for lukewarm chicken here! Everything was hot, crispy, and exactly as expected.

One thing I really appreciated was that they didn’t skimp on the extras—I got plenty of ketchup, mayo, and sauce, which doesn’t always happen at other locations.

The restaurant itself was spotless, and while it was quite empty, that just meant a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. There were only a few other customers inside, but the staff were still friendly and attentive. The kiosk was out of order, but the lady at the counter took my order, and she was super nice and friendly, which made the experience even better.

Another plus is the huge car park, so there’s no stress about finding a space. If you’re in the mood for variety, there are plenty of other fast food places nearby, so you can easily mix and match if you want both McDonald’s and KFC in one go.

Overall, this was one of the better KFC experiences I’ve had—fast, fresh, and with great service....

Without ruffling too many feathers here....🐔previous experiences of KFC Colton have been somewhat of a mixed bag. Over the years I've known raw chicken to be served (one off), food to be cold, gravy that resembles dishwater and items to be missing off the order. For these reasons, I've steered clear, until tonight that is. After a horrific day at hospital, we all had that craving (if you know, you know) that only KFC could satisfy. So ...we chanced it.....risky considering previous experiences. Well.....I sincerely hope lessons have been learned because tonight's meal was absolutely spot on! Ordered to pick up at the drive thru (god send). Food was hot, fresh (and cooked this time, thankfully) and that gravy.......that gravy.........was top shelf! Thick, and plenty of flavour/seasoning. The fillets were good and those chicken wings/mini legs were gorgeous little fire bombs!!!! Plenty of heat (just how I like them) that even took out my wife by surprise. Only thing now is.......I expect the exact same standard every single time I order food from there,...

The staff are good and try to be quick but sometimes there is a ridiculous wait between ordering and getting to the pay window. I guess they don't have waiting bays like the McDonald's next door so you are left waiting for the car in front to get whatever it is they ordered (if this was a special order where they changed things etc. You could be waiting ages). The size of the mini fillers has also massively reduced too. Since November 2017 they have gone from a reasonable size and me not being able to eat all 3 in a boneless dips meal to them being tiny and barely filling the gap from hunger) this is proven by the fact they used to struggle fitting in the box but now they rattle around like peas in a drum. Anyway overall it's not too bad but wait times, serving efficiency and portion control could be worked on. Not the worst KFC...
