This new Starbucks is cold and uninviting. The door keeps sticking open and customers are up and down to close it. The place is large and cold and makes you want to hurry so as to go somewhere warm.
The staff, obviously quite new to be fair, forget to add paid for sweet treats to the order. You have to ask again. As orders can take a while, customers move away and sit down. When the staff say your name, it can't be heard, so it just gets planted on the counter.
My coffee arrived in a great big heavy pot, so I guess unless you specify regular, you're given large. It's like a dog bowl.
I can't see any newspapers to browse, but this would be a good idea to get people to hang around, relax and maybe buy more. As it stands, it's just too cold and un-cosy to do this just now. Hopefully, it'll improve as it beds in a bit.
