I never put a review for Subways as it’s my favorite place to get my lunch or my subs anywhere i travel, but unfortunately not this time as i was shocked. First of all, i give a full respect of the staff at the counter as they were working hard and i can see that. But first time i tried this branch, i ordered via the app as i do usually, created my own sub (Footlong Philly Steak) came to collect it which was ready on time so nothing wrong with the and the service, but opened it and started eating it and I added my own salad but noticed that few things missing such like onions, Sea Salt, Crispy Onions, Mixed Peppercorns so not even one item missing, anyway i asked the staff about which kindly added them and apologized. After i ate, i went to the toilet and here was the shock, disgusting toilet, i doubts if this been cleaned for a while, i took some photos to be sent to health and safety, food hygiene department to deal with it ASAP. I couldn’t use it due to dirtiness and when i tried to wash my hands, there was no soap!!!
This is not acceptable at all, i hope someone from Subway team see this and deal with it...
Read moreHeaded to Subway today for lunch with a friend. Appreciating it was the lunchtime rush and as we got there it was clear the staff were thrown by a "Platter" order that was not expected. This mixed with the other walk ins and the online orders that kept coming through made for a chaotic experience.
Having to repeat my order around 6 times as I worked through the stations was frustrating. Especially as I wanted an off the menu item with no additions or personalizations.
I was with a friend who suggested I download the app for deals and offers and though I was there with ample time to do this, the lack of service and no WiFi meant I wasn't able to do so.
The sandwich itself was tasty, no complaints there, but the service and atmosphere were where this experience let itself down. In a location with multiple eatery choices, standing above the completion is key and this experience did not...
Read moreI have been coming to this branch of Subway since comimg into the area in November 2017. The staff here are friendly and helpful always offering a smile and a greeting as you come in and always making sure you get what you want. They will explain if there are any extra costs (such as double meat or extra cheese etc.) or even offer option such as omelette egg or poached egg on your breakfast mega melt (most places I have been presume omelette egg unless you ask for poached, only here and Skipton have seemed to ask me everytime). A few weeks ago I found out why I am so happy with this store and that is because it is managed by the same people who run my favourite Subway Store on the outskirts of Skipton (next to McDonald's and Ford).
