KFC Leeds - Horsforth — Restaurant in Leeds

If there was a zero star I would of rated zero. Been in after a nice walk with 5 friends (6 of us in total). Walked upto the counter and was met with 3 girls on right all chatting to each other and girl on left. Was completely ignored, no hello, nothing. There was 1 girl stood on left who just stood there looking at my friend stood infront of her then decided to take the order. Again no smile, no hello. The food came out in completely different orders to order it was ordered. We could see all of our food for one large order passed through to the front but again everyone stood talking and not putting our order in a bag ready for us. We had no sauce so had to get up, no straws so had to get up. No salt so had to get up and no forkes for the sweet chilli chicken dip pots and you need a fork for these. We were given no napkins and everytime we approached the front just got looked at. My friend asked for sauce and was ignored whilst her food went cold. I had to get up and ask louder for her. The staff clearly all young females clearly had no manners, customer service skills and no common sense. I don't know whether these are to blame or the owner / manager for lack of basic training in politeness. £20 for what was essentially a rustlers microwave burger, only worse. Year on year the food and service here gets worse. Of all the recent KFC closures, that this one somehow remains open is a crime!

Ordered 2 fillet burgers, one was flat, cold and dry, must have been in the drawer for a couple of days, the other had so much congealed mayo on it, you could touch it and it didn't stick to your finger. Both had clearly been cooked in oil that hasn't been changed for weeks, if months.

Took it back and the staff had requested a manager before I'd even got to the counter. The attitude of the manager was apathetic at best, rude and sarcastic at worst. So much so she had to disappear to the back of the store to figure out to replace/refund the order.

On replacing the order, was presented with similarly poor looking burgers. As I had returned the fries as well, when questioning where my replacement fries were, received a gormless "I was only told to give you a burger" stare before another employee rudely manhandled 2 bags of fries into the tiny take away bag.

Clearly only catering for the deliveroo/just eat orders now, that don't get returned.

Turn this place into a dark kitchen if you don't want to train your staff in basic...

I've visited here several times in the last year or so and have never received a decent service. I support someone with special needs who likes to visit this branch of kfc as it is near to his home. We usually visit on an evening so it's always quiet which he prefers due to his autism. Despite the lack of customers, we always seem to have to wait a long time for our food. The staff team always come across pleasant but seem very inexperienced and despite putting the order through the till, usually ask me to repeat the order to them a couple more times. I've never seen a staff team of more than 3 people, so I'm sure this is detrimental to the production of said "fast food". Even people that use the drive through service are always waiting around in the car park for the staff to bring them their orders ! Today was the last straw as when I opened my 'dirty louisiana meal' the burger was slumped over to one side looking very sorry for itself. They also forgot my friends large popcorn chicken and when informed, replaced it with a small and the promise that they'd bring another small one over to make up for it...they didn't.
