A haven of tranquility. Very easy to find on google maps. A miniature japanese garden so many beautiful flowering shrubs & acers. A place of beauty & harmony. Great to spend time on your own or visit as family. There is a small free car park & the gardens are free entry which makes it worthwhile & lovely to visit. The blossom trees are in full bloom & give the gardens a glorious presence. There is birdsong everywhere & a small lake with lilly pads which attracts wildlife. Read moreThe gardens are still open but not as pretty or as well cared for as they used to be. Part of Horsforth Hall park so a lovely area to walk around. There's a nice children's playground and a bandstand that has summer band performances. There's 2 (currently) free car parks and street parking spaces too. Plenty of spaces for a picnic and some picnic tables and seating is available plus lots of benches along the paths. It's dog friendly but be aware there's sometimes unruly, off lead dogs...

On a side note can we please get some more sand in the kids play area!
