Yesterday evening, we visited an Iranian restaurant in Leeds, and unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. The restaurant had a small dining area, and we were with a 7-year-old child. The staff refused to allow us to stay, citing their policy on children, but their attitude and behavior were extremely rude and unprofessional.
To make matters worse, they had an outdoor area in front of the restaurant designated for shisha (hubble bubble), yet they also allowed people to smoke inside the restaurant. As a result, the entire space was filled with smoke, making it very uncomfortable to breathe. It felt hypocritical that they used smoking as an excuse to not allow children but then permitted smoking indoors.
It was a special day for us, and we expected better customer service. The staff could have made arrangements to accommodate non-smokers and families by organizing the space more effectively. Instead, their poor management and lack of courtesy ruined the experience.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. They need to seriously improve their customer service, staff behavior, and overall...
Read moreThe food was a bit bland and needed more seasoning. The salad provided was bare minimum and plain and there was no baghali polo option with lamb shank which is a must and I thought that was cutting corners. There was also no koobide on the menu which was a bit odd and disappointing. Also, some popular food options are missing from the food menu. I'd understand it's easier for the kitchen and cost wise to have a limited menu, but I had never seen this extent of extreme limited options with every day popular items missed off deliberately. Overall it's not good for attracting more returning customers as limited food options are a deterring factor for customers to return and customers won't return if they can't eat what they like and will go where they are available instead to other restaurants. So overall a bad long term business move and something for management to think about and to take on customer feedback. On the positives, I liked the atmosphere and staff were friendly nonetheless, but shame about the limited over simplified menu. Definitely room for...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at Mr Moustache Shisha Lounge and Persian Restaurant. The atmosphere is stylish yet comfortable, with a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout our visit.
The food was outstanding – authentic Persian flavors with beautifully presented dishes. The kebabs were juicy and full of flavor, the stews rich and comforting, and the sides were fresh and delicious. Their shisha selection was equally impressive, smooth and well-prepared with plenty of flavors to choose from.
What really stood out was the attention to detail and the quality of service – it felt like they genuinely cared about creating a great experience for their customers. Whether you’re going for dinner, shisha, or both, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxed evening with friends or family.
Highly recommend – definitely one of the best Persian restaurants and shisha lounges...
