We recently placed a large pre order with Signature Sweets in Leeds for 70 boxes of bisan for a function and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. When we arrived the staff were already fully aware of our order and had everything ready for us. The boxes were neatly organised into groups of 10 and packed into their branded carrier bags which gave a really polished and professional presentation.
We had paid a deposit in advance and settled the balance on collection. Because it was a large order we were also given a discount which was a nice gesture. While collecting the order we also purchased a few extra items to take away including 1.5kg of fresh jalebi 5 ladoos and 1kg of mixed mithai. Everything was delicious the jalebi was especially fresh and tasty.
The service throughout was excellent. One of the staff members even helped us load all the boxes into our car which was much appreciated given the quantity we had.
The shop also has a dine in option. The restaurant itself is a medium size but there are plenty of tables and it would be a great spot for a casual catch up or just a quick bite to eat. While we didn’t have time to sit in and try the food there were customers enjoying meals and the menu looked great. We also noticed a selection of Indian snacks near the till and fresh mangoes in the fridge a really nice touch.
Will definitely be back to try the food in house next time. Highly...
Read moreA recent exciting discovery of ours, my other half who is British Punjabi is in love with this vegetarian North Indian restaurant and sweet center , and the food reminds her of her mothers - she condemns the majority of even the name Asian restaurants in leeds as mediocre and sometimes awful , and I have come to agree with her. This is in a class of its own, the food is the freshest and the ingredients the highest quality. I’m slightly addicted to the Rajasthani Mirchi Vada. I am reaching for car keys to return, typing this …keen to try also Punjab Heaven next door, which I believe is the same owners and chefs but serves meat dishes and...
Read moreWent for a dinner with three teen agers, ordered Chole bhature, Chilly paneer , Veg noodles and gobhi paratha. All were served fresh and quickly. We felt the food had potential to taste like what we get in India, but since we did not ask for it, The taste was very bland for our palate. Best were chole bhature. Chilly paneer, had paneer pakoda put in sweet sauce, so not at all like chilly paneer. Also I felt that Quantity can be bit more for the price charged, Veg noodles at 7 pounds , were just like a small maggy pack. Will try once again, before...
