Probably the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced. Went for a casual curry, ended up feeling uncomfortable and leaving hungry. Spoken to by the supposed owner “Faraz”. My friend and I ordered the chicken tikka masala amongst other things. The chicken tikka masala wasn’t what we expected at all. It was pink soup with no flavour. He said this is the “English Chicken Tikka Masala” if you wanted the one without cream, you should have asked for Asian tikka masala (this wasn’t on the menu). The way he explained this was patronising and rude, almost as if we hadn’t eaten an Indian meal before. We have😑. Disappointed at the way this was handled (I felt very uncomfortable at the way he spoke to us) we ended our meal early. I hope this was a one-off on their part. But it will definitely be the last time we dine there.

Visited Bengal Brasserie Indian restaurant a couple of times now. The restaurant has always been busy and we're clearly very busy with take away orders also. Had fish masala starter and murgh masala with cheesy naan for main course. Service was a little slow but this wasn't really an issue as they were clearly very busy. The fish masala was really nice with lots of different flavour, and served with a little salad and mint sauce. The murgh masala curry was delicious, tender chicken and full of flavour. On a separate visit, tried the Nawabi Khana curry, a dish cooked with 21 ingredients gives this dish lots of flavour and taste. Would definitely visit again to further explore more Indian cuisine from the menu.

Been here before had good meals, went a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday night with friends. Can’t believe service poor, food served on ice cold plates, i ordered my meal Burgos knows what I was given! Maybe it was getting to the end of night and they cobbled something together, but wasn’t impressed at all,my meal was tasteless, staff seemed unintrested,my friend asked for her food warming as it was nearly cold as mine was. Sorry bengal brasserie, you’ve put me off along with the other 7 people I was with.i ended up taking mine home then chucking it the next day

Ordered a takeaway delivery yesterday just after 5pm when it opened. When I put the order through the guy on the phone said it will be 15-20min. It was now coming to an hour so I called and they said driver is on his way, so I waited. Then car pulls up right outside my house. So I’m wandering he’s outside in his car I could see him having a casual conversation on his phone and was now coming to over 5mins he’s been chatting. He now turns up, I open the door and say to him you’ve been in your car over 5mins on your phone, to his reply, he said he was looking for the house, stupid liar. When I took all the food out the oil from the curry had leaked in the bag and as I’m an Indian myself and an avid cook, been to many restaurants in the uk and globally, the food was terrible even though I mentioned to the guy to make it very spicy when placing the order. This is why most Asians will not order from most Indian restaurants and takeaways as they know the food will be rubbish and tasteless and pretty much catered for the non Indian market because they know they can get away with making rubbish food. I definitely would not order from Bengal...

Probably the best Indian food I have ever tasted!!!

We had a table for two on a Friday night. They have a great menu with such a good variety and mix of dishes. We ordered the combo starter for 2 which was so nice!!! The lamb chops in particular were excellent!! We ordered the mixed sagg special and the tandoori cocktail special. Wow!!!! Absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection and the lamb was so tender, melted in your mouth!! The flavours were incredible!!

The service was excellent!! All the staff were so attentive, polite and nice. Could not fault them and I can't fault anything about the food and experience!! Thank you so much to all the team!!

Great social distancing measures. All staff in face masks, they have put screens up between all tables, hand sanitizer on entry and on every table.

Value for money, absolutely!! Excellent food and service, their pricing is spot on!! (Out starter and both special main courses were about £10 each 👌👌)

I love Indian food and believe me you must visit here!! Really really good!!! I would 100% recommend and I will be back!! Keep up the...

Curries are really nice, and it’s not far from home - for that reason alone we will likely keep returning and hope they take some of these comments on board to improve their restaurant. The starters we’ve had so far haven’t been good, and the service needs improving. I’ve been 4/5 times now, the starters have always been disappointing. Onion bhaji taste like nothing, all flour/no onion- dry and tasteless. The Indian fish they use here is not nice, funny texture/taste/smell. I really like fish curries but knowing they use that fish I won’t try theirs. Lamb chops aren’t great. No one comes to ask how the food is, this should be done at every course, not just the end. One of the main servers with the dark hair and glasses appears to be unable to smile, it comes across rude to stand front of house and greet customers looking like you don’t want to be there. He seems to be in a world of his own, half listening to your order. Start smiling and looking like you enjoy your job/appreciate your customers. All in all it’s a nice place with a decent chef, just needs work on a few areas and it could be so...
